SmartWasteBag - the reusable garbage bag

The SmartWasteBag was developed in 2019. Anja von dem Berge, the founder of SmartWasteBag, was constantly annoyed by the disposable plastic garbage bags that never fit. She also found the fact that plastic garbage bags are produced just to pack your own garbage and then dispose of it to be out of date in times of climate change and environmental pollution. Almost 14 million disposable plastic garbage bags are disposed of every day in Germany. That's 70 tons of plastic that are generated every day just to dispose of the existing garbage! The number of disposable plastic garbage bags represents a huge environmental pollution. The SmartWasteBag therefore makes a significant contribution to protecting the environment. The oceans in particular are protected by the SmartWasteBag. The garbage in our oceans consists largely of plastic bags, along with other plastic waste. These plastic bags absorb the smell of food in the water, so that marine animals mistake the plastic bags for food. The animals die painfully from the plastic in their stomachs or they get caught in the plastic bags and die as a result.
